1. What we provide

DayZ PBO Protector is a desktop tool and companion website that packs, protects and signs DayZ mod files (PBO). The base toolset is free to use. Paid plans unlock the advanced protection options.

We may add, change or retire features over time. We will keep the advertised capabilities of the current release honest; we do not promise features we have not built.

2. Accounts

You sign in through our identity provider (Logto) and your account is tied to your email address. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials and the devices that use them secure.

One account may hold one active desktop seat at a time; logging in on a new device moves the seat. Website browsing does not consume a seat.

3. Pricing and subscription

Pro is offered monthly ($9.9 USD/month) and yearly ($99.9 USD/year), and independently configured CNY one-time terms via local payment channels; the price shown at checkout is what you pay. Prices may change with notice on the pricing page.

Auto-renewal is opt-in and OFF by default. It is only available for PayPal USD subscriptions, and only after you explicitly enable it and confirm the renewal terms. When enabled, you are charged automatically at the start of each billing period until you switch it off. You can turn it off at any time on the billing page; a cancellation stops future charges and your access continues until the current period's expiry date.

CNY (Epay) purchases are one-time terms only and never renew automatically; extend manually before expiry if you wish to continue.

4. Acceptable use

Use the tool to protect your own DayZ mods and content you have the right to distribute. Do not use it to obfuscate malware, cheat software, or content that violates the games' terms or applicable law.

Do not attack, overload or probe the website or its APIs beyond normal usage; rate limits apply and repeated abuse may lead to suspension.

5. Protection is best effort, not a guarantee

The protection features are designed to make reverse engineering and extraction substantially harder and more expensive. No software protection is unbreakable, and we make no claim that protected output cannot be analyzed. We describe what each tier does in truthful terms and disclaim any guarantee of a specific outcome.

6. Intellectual property

The tool, website and their original materials belong to the operator. Your mod content remains yours; we take no license to it beyond what is needed to process your files for you.

7. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or enable fraud, proportionate to the issue and with notice where practical. Paid access that is suspended mid-term follows the refund policy.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties beyond those that cannot be excluded by law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (for example lost mod work or server downtime); our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; material changes are announced on the changelog page and by email where we have your address. Continued use after an update means the updated terms apply.

10. Governing rules

These terms are written for users worldwide. We aim to resolve any disagreement through friendly negotiation first; if that fails, the matter is handled under fair, generally accepted international e-commerce practice. Nothing here deprives you of protections you cannot waive in your own country.
